The Rockies had the longest layoff (8 days) since sweeping the NLCS and the ALCS going to 7 games. There are beliefs in which whoever had a longer layoff would usually end up losing the series. Nonetheless, all in all this was a series in which the Rockies and the Red Sox will remember forever. Did you know? The Rockies wanted to sell their tickets online exclusively and thus caused a very big flop in which there were attacks on their server to bring it down causing a great ticket sale controversy. Nonetheless, they sold all the home game tickets in 2 1/2 hours on the following day. Wow.

The Battle of New York, like the 1989 World Series on the Battle of the Bay was between the cross town Yankees vs the Mets. 4 train, which leads to Yankee Stadium as well as 7 train in which leads to Shea Stadium right before the Main St stop became the monicker for the nickname of the series. First we start off with the Calgary Flames Jet Black Metallic Silver Scarlet New Era Fitted Cap, which hands down gets my approval for being the best one of the batch. The cap is featured in a solid jet black crown with a metallic silver visor and a scarlet button to compliment the shoes perfectly. The cap is proportionately perfect with right amounts of silver and red.

The second hat we are show casing is this Chicago Top Chicago Bulls New Era Snapback for the Air Jordan V Metallic Silver. Like the Flames, it is featured in a solid jet black crown with a metallic silver visor. Nonetheless, the difference is tremendous as it features more red than the Flames. Personally, there's not TOO much red and so it wins my approval as well. The fit is great, but I added the Flames to my collection as snapbacks are not my cup of tea yet.

This is for all the plain dudes out there. This New Jersey New Era Fitted Cap by myfitteds.com features a solid jet black construction with minimal red and metallic silver. Muhammad Ali is and will always be considered one of the greatest athletes of our time. His feats are legendary, his fights, epic. It wasn't a surprise when New Era brought out the first batch of Muhammad Ali fitted hats. It was just a matter of when. And we are pleased to inform you all that New Era has done it again, a re-release of three limited edition Muhammad Ali hats are back in our stores. This time, they portray significant events through Ali's career as the CHAMP.
The first is 'Fight of the Century'. This was Ali and Joe Frazier's second time meeting in the ring. Ali implemented his own strategy called Rope-a-dope. Virtually letting his opponent mercilessly pound him. The goal was to tire the opponent out and Ali would come in for the K.O.. Didn't work too well for Ali, Frazier ending up going the full 15 rounds standing. In the end, by unanimous vote, Frazier was crowned victor and took Ali's title as World Heavy Weight Champion.

Next was the Rumble in the Jungle. Took place in Africa. Against the older and slower Ali against the seemingly unstoppable George Foreman. Foreman throughout the year, dominated his opponents. Ali, coming back from a boxing hiatus was considered the underdog of this match. Again Ali used his rope-a-dope technique. However this time, it was well played and Ali got Foreman. Ali came back victorious.

And finally possibly the pinnacle of Ali's career was his final fight against Frazier. Bout 3 was highly personal between the two. Called the 'Thrilla in Manila'. Ali had a fast left jab but his fists weren't his only weapon, his tongue was just as vicious. He taunted, insulted and provoked Frazier. The two went into the third bout heated and ready. The match is still considered to be the best boxing ever televised and witnessed. Both fighters were ferocious and in the end, Ali emerged victorious because Frazier was no longer allowed to fight.

Toronto Maple Leafs New Era Fitted for the Royal Blue Foamposites!

So here we are again. Today the featured item is the Toronto Maple Leafs New Era hat matched for the Royal Blue Foamposites. We've had a few Maple Leafs hat dropped in our stores a few times, but it was never specifically made for any shoe in particular. Now, it's a different story. If you have the Blue Foamposites, this hat is a MUST. Presented in the jet black crown with the royal blue visor, simply perfect.

We obviously got some other drops, so without further a due, here's a glimpse of the next few...
The New Jersey Devils custom New Era hat. Although the Devils aren't doing too well this year, sport your home team with the light gray and royal blue hat.

No list is complete without a New York Yankees custom. So we got one for you. It's in the Atlanta Braves team colors of dark navy and scarlet. The colors work rather well for the yanks hat. adds a fit of flavor to the ordinary white and navy.

We just got special edition New Era fitteds in. These fitteds are for our Canadian fans and followers; especially for the Toronto and Vancouver hats. Check out these special editions.

First we present to you the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays are a popular fitted for collectors and needless to say, extremely popular for the Canadian MLB fans. The hat is for the die hard collectors, this is the 1991 All Star fitted. The fitted includes the logo on the front and the ALL-STAR logo on the back and the creme-de la-creme is the maple leave on the right side.

The remarkable, the unheard of, the inevitable has just taken place. New Era and ESPN have collaborated to create the new line of New Era fitted caps. Enough talking, on with the pictures...

First up is the Chicago Bulls New Era/ESPN hat. The jet black and scarlet colors represent the authentic Bulls team colors. Notice in the center, there is a basketball with the 'ESPN' logo written in the center.

Next is the Boston Celtics. Again the kelly green and jet black colors are true to the team colors. Take notice of the center ESPN logo. It also sports the NBA logo man.

The Los Angeles Lakers. The list wouldn't be complete without the new powerhouse of the 21st century. The concord and gold rush representing the colors of LA.

Last but not least is the Miami Heats! Sporting their jet black with russet sunset colors, the Heats are the new team in the spotlight. With their new 'young' lineup, they are the most controversial team in the NBA.

It's already December people. Is it me, or does time seem to speed up around this time? The biggest holiday season is coming: Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Since most of you already did your shopping for electronics, it's time to rebuff your accessories; namely your fitted caps.
To start off the holidays, we got some new fitteds for you to match up.

Okay, we all know that New Era is amazing at making the custom fitted caps but this time around, they really outdid themselves. The new 24-7 is matched perfectly with the custom New Jersey Devils hat. The light grey crown fitted with the royal blue brim and logo makes an astounding match with the Air Maxes.

Those of you following our blog and visit our site know how HOT and how quickly the Chicago Bulls-Slate Blue Gray Melton Wool New Era fitted cap was. I suppose it's only fitting for people to want the matching fitted for the most anticipated shoe of 2010, Jordan Flint XIII. The Bulls cap was ravaged from our shelves and left us completely void of the beautiful blue and gray hat. But fear not, we will never let you down, the release of the version 2 has landed in our store. The crown of the hat is white and the brim is the same gray. To top it off, the the under-brim and the top button is blue. We can't tell you which is better, it's like asking which is better chocolate or vanilla?

Although the Chicago Bulls was the highlight, that's not all folks. One of our most popular an frequent cap is the Kansas City Royals. The Royals always emerge with the simple color scheme and design. That's the genius of the Royals caps. Sometimes, simple is the best way to go.

We got the new Colorado Rockies cap here too. The base is dark gray and the brim is purple. It's an exceptional cap and matched easily withe the Flights. Gray is the new black. Just look how the purple and gray accent each other.

Next is the Denver Nuggets black and silver. The print is the city skyline mixed with different shades of gray. It's possible to match this with virtually anything. Black and gray, is the safest way to go.

It's almost a known fact that Chicago Bulls have used just about every color known to man for their custom fitted caps. Sometimes even all on the same cap. But this time, they broke it down to the prime colors, simple black and white.

Toronto is not as adventurous with their colors as the Bulls. They don't stray from their team colors of purple and black, but you know what, it works. The colors never clash, there's never a complaint that their hat is ugly.

The last cap is for the Los Angeles Lakers. Let's face it, whether you're a fan or not, they are an impressive team. They do well and work well together. So here's one fitted in honor for Kobe Bryant.

Sure has been a busy week. More hats have just come into our store. Curious to see what they are? I know I would be so without further a due...

First we have the New York Knickerbockers aka Knicks. The hat itself is a dark grey base with an orange under-brim. The logo is embroidered to give it a clear and distinct design. It was set to the Dunk High to give it the perfect basketball blend.

We go back into MLB to give you the Baltimore Orioles in black, neon and grey. It's not original but, it's still a nice hat to keep.

Also take a look at the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Anaheim Angels. Support your Californian MLB teams. Take a peak before they officially become available here. The Dodgers hat has the traditional LA logo but with a twist in the colors. It sports the green under-brim.

And the Angels hat logo is a bit different. As you can see the halo is actually integrated into the 'A' to give it an unique look.The new design is simple yet an elegant alteration to the original. All available here.

In the Postseason, it's win or go home. The Yankees hoped to take a win over the Rangers on Friday and continue on their march to win the 2010 Pennant. Nonetheless, through 6 innings, it looked like CC Sabathia just gave it to the Rangers and the Yankees couldn't seem to produce much runs. Things changed in the 8th where the Yankees started to make a comeback and won 6-5. You must watch the hightlights. I literally turned the TV off at the 4th inning and now its all over the news. The history's most dominant forces can be said to be Alexander the Great, The Roman Empire, Genghis Khan and the New York Yankees. No other team in franchise history has a team dominated a sport for so long.

Since the inception of the World Series from 1921-2009 they have won 27 World Series titles. That accounts for roughly 25% of the series. Whether you are a fan or not, these statistics are worthy of respect from any sports fan. The Yankees have created a dynasty through the efforts of memorable athletes as well as the owners.

When the captain Derek Jeter was still yet a rookie. After a 12 year hiatus from the World Series, the Yankees managed to face off against the then powerhouse Atlanta Braves. The series ended with a 4-2 win over the Braves, setting the stone for the dynasty. Then in 1998 the Yankees faced the San Diego Padres in a sweep of 4-0. With another appearance in 1999, it was a rematch against the Braves. Unfortunately for the Braves, the Yankees swept them in a 4-0 series. In 2000 they were against another New York team, Mets. This was the first Subway Series since1956. The series ended with a victory of 4-1.
